Esports athletes from Indonesia basically have above-average abilities for the competitive scene of Dota 2, CSGO, and PES. Because of their abilities that were judged above average, many overseas teams decided to recruit them.
Some of them have been defending teams from abroad for a long time. Who are they? Check out the following review.
1. Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand
Who does not know the name BnTeT? This CSGO pro player is one of the best players from Indonesia. In 2020, BnTeT decided to move to North America and join Gen.G Esports.
2. Kevin “xccurate” Susanto
Just like BnTeT, Kevin is a CSGO Pro player who has defended TYLOO. In the past, Kevin had a team with Hansel when he was still defending the Chinese team.
Now, Kevin is on the Big Time Regal Gaming team based in China.
3. Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky
The name IYD doesn’t sound so foreign, he has worked with various teams outside Indonesia. In the past, IYD has joined teams such as the Tigers and Fnatic.
Now, IYD has been confirmed to be in T1 uniform based in South Korea.
4. Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro
Just like IYD, Jhocam is currently in T1 uniform some time ago. Jhocam used to defend a team called WOLF based in China. Prior to joining T1, Jhocam had uniformed PG.BarraX.
5. Kenny “Xepher” Deo
Continuing to the competitive Dota 2 scene, there is the name Xepher who successfully won third place in the WePlay tournament! Bukovel Minor 2020 then with Geek Fam. Xepher has defended big teams such as the TNC Tigers and also the Tigers.
Currently, Xepher joins the Geek Fam based in our neighboring country, Malaysia.
6. Andrew “Drew” Halim
Drew’s name began to stick out when he managed to qualify for DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major 2020 with Reality Rift. Drew is one of the Indonesian players who has tasted the current Major stage.
In 2020, Drew joined the Singapore-based Reality Rift.
7. Yusuf “Yabyoo” Kurniawan
Yabyoo is a Dota 2 player who works for the Resurgance team. With the team, Yabyoo performed quite well. Resurgance is a Dota 2 team based in Singapore.
8. Rizky Faidan
Lastly, there is the name Rizky Faidan who is the best Indonesian PES Pro player at the moment. Previously, Faidan played for Zeus Gaming and ONIC Esports.
However, in early January 2020, Faidan officially joined a team from Thailand, Buriram United Esports.
