BOOM.id’s dream to qualify for the Dota 2 Asia Championship Main Event has been dashed. They had to admit defeat to TNC Pro Team with a score of 2-0 in the semi-finals. Having the opportunity to enter the lower bracket, in fact they had to accept their second defeat to Geek Farm with a score of 2-0 in the third Loser’s round.
Whereas in the quarter finals, BOOM.id looked stunning by defeating the Fnatic team with a score of 2-1. However, that victory actually became an anti-climax for them until they finally had to accept two consecutive defeats.
After defeating Fnatic, BOOM.id had to face TNC Pro Team. Unfortunately, they failed to continue the positive trend. TNC Pro managed to beat BOOM.id with a score of 2-0.
Against Geek Farm, BOOM.id Loses Momentum Until His Dream To Qualify To Main Event Dota 2 Asia Championship
In the match against Geek Farm, BOOM.id was able to outperform Geek Farm until the mid game. However, they finally had to lose momentum in the pit rosh and finally BOOM.id also had to lose to aegis. Because of this, finally Geek Farm was able to easily turn things around with a final score of 27 -36.
Apparently, the error in the first game affected BOOM.id’s game in the second game. As a result, Geek Farm dominated the game and ended the second game with a score of 27 – 17. With this result, BOOM.id’s move to qualify for the 2018 Dota 2 Asia Championships Main Event has ended. Even though they lost, BOOM.id’s struggle as the representative of Indonesia deserves appreciation. Hopefully, they will thrive in the next competitions considering BOOM.id.
