Defeat Geek Fam, BOOM Esports Comes Out as Champion at ESL SEA Championship 2020!

Great Comeback from BOOM Esports

In contrast to the BO5 format, BOOM Esports was left behind in the first game after a stunning performance from Raven who managed to get 17 kills and 13 assists. However, entering the second and third games, BOOM Esports performed quite well after Mikoto got 18 kills in the second game and Dreamocel got 11 kills in the third game.

Entering the fourth game, Geek Fam was able to equalize the score after Raven recorded 8 kills and 10 assists. The result in the fourth game brought both teams to compete in the deciding game.

After competing for more than 30 minutes, BOOM Esports emerged as the champion after Mikoto with the hero Void Spirit managed to get 13 kills and 8 assists. The match between the two teams ended with a sweet victory for BOOM Esports.

After winning the ESL SEA Championship 2020, BOOM Esports has the right to appear at ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online SEA. This tournament will be participated by 4 teams, 3 of which will receive direct invitations.

Prior to that, ESL One Birmingham was planned to take place in the UK. However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the organizers to hold online tournaments in their respective regions.

In fact, this tournament will be attended by several strong teams such as OG, Invictus Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and TNC Predator.
