Armed with only six indie developers, they announced a new online game project called “Staxel”. At first glance, it’s not surprising that many people think Staxel is a clone of Minecraft. But the developer explained that the concept of the Staxel game looks very different.
Staxel is an online game where the main focus of the game is socializing, exploring and building the game world, and ultimately creating complete freedom of play. This concept is more like an Animal Crossing game than Minecraft. Staxel is also planned to be released as a game that supports single player and multiplayer games at the same time. Currently Staxel is being promoted through Steam Greenlight, and the new plan will be released in 2016.
