The first minor event at the Dota Pro Circuit 2019/2020, namely Dota Summit 11, has confirmed 8 teams that will compete. The eight teams came from the qualifying rounds of their respective regions.
The regions in question are Southeast Asia, CIS, Europe, China, North America, and South America. The six continents have sent 2 representatives and 1 representative.
The first DPC 2019/2020 event was not attended by a team from Indonesia. This is because BOOM Esports failed to advance in both tournaments, namely the MDL Chengdu Major and Dota Summit 11.
8 Teams that Qualified for the Main Event DOTA Summit 11
The eight teams that confirmed their appearance in the event were Geek Fam (Southeast Asia), Virtus.pro, HellRaiser (CIS), Ninjas in Pajamas, Ad Finem (Europe), Invictus Gaming (China), Quincy Crew (North America) and, PaiN Gaming (South America).
Geek Fam qualified for Dota Summit 11 after defeating Cignal Ultra in the SEA Region qualifying final with a score of 2-0. On the other hand, Invictus Gaming looked stunning after beating CDEC in the final with a score of 3-2.
For CIS, Virtus,pro and HellRaiser secured tickets after beating Jfshfh178. Meanwhile, there are Ninja in Pajamas and Ad Finem from the European region, and Quincy Crew reinforced by SumaiL (formerly), and PaiN Gaming from Brazil.
The eight teams above will compete for one ticket to the MDL Chengdu Major play-offs and a total prizepool of $300,000. One more thing, Dota Summit 11 prepares DPC points of 660 points.
