Monster Strike was first released as a mobile game for iOS in 2013. In a short time, this game achieved great popularity. This success finally made the developer release Monster Strike to the Nintendo 3DS platform. Unlike the mobile version, the 3DS version of Monster Strike appears as a full RPG game with additional interesting features, and does not use the cash shop system at all like the mobile version.
In this game you control a young man named Ren Homura, who one day finds himself trapped in a fantasy world full of monsters. As Ren, you are free to explore the game world to fight and collect unique monsters. Every monster you have can be upgraded and transformed into a more powerful monster level. The game also features a new “super monster” feature called “Kagutsuchi”. The developer also explained that the 3DS version of Monster Strike will feature all the monsters from the mobile version, with the addition of original monsters that specifically appear for the 3DS version.
