BattleTech is a classic tabletop game that was also released as a PC game in the 80s. This game was re-created by the developer Harebrained Schemes, who is also known as the creator of the game Shadowrun Return. One thing to note is that BattleTech is not a spin-off of MechWarrior. This game is designed as a tactical “mecha combat game” game, with a classic turn-based combat system.
The BattleTech game world is full of war and politics, where each faction seeks to gain dominant power using its flagship mechas. In combat action, you can control several mechas at once, each complete with different weapons, armor, and skills. Mecha that you get can also be customized in appearance, including replacing body parts with stronger armor. You can also get help from other war vehicles such as tanks, hovercraft, and so on. BattleTech also takes a storyline narrative inspired by the original tabletop version.
