Iconic company games, Razer, has just opened their first store in America with a location in the heart of San Francisco, precisely in the Westfield shopping mall.
This shop just opened to the public last Saturday and was immediately packed with fans gamer enthusiastic. This happened during the opening of a Razer store in Taipei, Taiwan, when the police had to close the mall because of 2,000 yen gamer come to attend the event
This American Razer store has a prime location overlooking the street with a displaygiant LG so mall-goers can see firsthand what they’re doinggamer, such as a tournament or demo games. In addition, inside this store that turns out to be not very spacious, lined with Razer products, such as keyboard mechanic, gaming headsets, to laptop systems. In the headphones, you can listen to music or watch movies to clips games to know the resulting audio.
Razer also provides laptops gaming Razer Blade 2015 and Razer Blade Stealth to try. However, the experience offered is certainly different from most stores because here, you can try as much as you want without having to be afraid of being glared at or commented on by the clerk. “We want people to have a hands-on experience using our products. Our motto is ‘Touch. Stay. Play’. This place will be a great place for you to stop by while the kids are shopping,” said Razer Public Relations Specialist Kevin Scarpati.
Apart from letting people experience using their products first hand, Razer also hopes that their store can become a community for consumers gamer. The company plans to host tournaments and autograph sharing events by professional eSports players. Variousgames has been installed in the demo laptop, even the visitors can use their account to play.
One of the interesting things could be the lack of stock space in this Razer store. “This shows we are not trying too hard to make a profit through this store. We want people to come to test products and buy them in stores on line us,” Scarpati said.
